She also loved sewing and took tailoring classes at night school. She was very talented and made coats, clothing, and numerous handcrafted items. She donated many of them to church Bazaars. As an ordained minister (Priest & Elder), Sandra was an active and dedicated member of the Community of Christ, Fayette City congregation. Faith was a very important part of her life. She led devotional groups at church and with her friends. Through study, she continued growing her faith and ministry. Sandra was a true caretaker, and passionate about others. She took many people into her home when they needed a place to stay or some special care.
