John J. Megliss, age 95, of Lincoln Borough, died December 30, 2023, at AHN Jefferson Hospital.  Born September 4, 1928, in Duquesne, he was the son of the late Andrew and Mary (Palko) Megliss and the husband of the late Mary "Patsy" Sprentz Priselac Megliss.  John worked for many years in HVAC around the community.  He enlisted in the Navy where he proudly served in World War II. He was a 50 plus year member of the Glassport American Legion Post 443. He also enjoyed hunting with family and friends.

John is survived by his daughters, Holly Megliss and Karen Linn; a granddaughter, Jessica Linn-Gross (David); great-grandchildren, Emma, Jackson, Lucy, and Lincoln. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by a son, Steven Priselac; siblings, Louise, Andrew, Betty, Helen, Jimmy, and Chuckie.
