Alice Mary Betzner, 88, of Greenock, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024. She was born June 29, 1935 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Viszokai) Kalo. She was a member of Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish- St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Township. Alice grew up in Duquesne Place. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed cooking and baking for everyone. She had previously worked for Macy's and Kaufman's in the former Century III Mall in West Mifflin.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Robert L. Betzner, son, Raymond L. (Joan) Betzner of Williamsburg, VA, daughter, Karen Ann Betzner of Greenock, grandson, Jason Paul (Brandy Humphries-Betzner), great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Virginia Betzner, sister, Margie (Ronald) Urda of North Versailles, brother-in-law, Gary Gilbert of Edinboro, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Paul Betzner who passed away April 3, 2023 and her sister, Betty Gilbert. Friends are welcome Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
