Dale Chester Maurer, 80, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024. He was born January 3, 1944 in Elizabeth Township and was the son of the late Glenn and Margaret (Johnson) Maurer. Dale was a retired warehouse worker for G.C. Murphy and also worked for US Steel. 

He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey Maurer of Janesville,WI and Chris Maurer of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren, Callianna and Makayla Maurer; brother, Ed Maurer; twin sister, Margaret Forster and nieces, Jessica and Darcy Maurer.There is no visitation.
