Betty J. Removchik, age 86 of North Huntingdon, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at her home. She was born in McKeesport on May 3, 1937, a daughter of the late James and Mildred Hillwig. Betty was a member of Prayer Time Cathedral in White Oak. She enjoyed ceramics, traveling with her beloved husband, Robert, and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her sister Ruth Wesley. She is survived by her husband Robert T, sons Robert Removchik and Randy (Stacy) Removchik, daughters Deborah Rice Johnson (Blair), Renee Smith (Chuck), grandchildren Katie Removchik, Alyssa Cordera (Myka), Tracy Rice, Kristi Rice, Kenley Johnson, Aiden Johnson, Haley Kunkle (Gage), and Hunter Smith, great grandchildren Jovi, Jaide, Emmah, Spencer, and Fraya. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon PA, on Friday, February 2, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be at the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 1PM with interment to follow at Irwin Union Cemetery.
