James Betras, age 74 of Jeannette died February 28,2024  at UPMC East. He was born May 20, 1949 in Wilmerding, Pa., a son of the late Charles and Mary Fletcher  Betras. Prior to his retirement, James was employed by RIDC Park as an assembler of heart catheter wires. A graduate of Norwin Class of 1967, he enjoyed CB radios, drag car racing, flew model airplanes and was an avid mechanic He was a member of the Herminie Gun Club. . He is survived by a daughter Deanna Betras and two grandchildren, Athena and Fedor. Friends will be recieved at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, Pa 15642 on Friday from 6-8 P.M. Interment will be private in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Irwin. www.shireyfuneralhome. com.
