Concetta "Connie" Guzewicz, age 94, of McKeesport, died March 2, 2024, at the Kane Community Living Center in McKeesport. Born October 1, 1929, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Luciano and Ida (Dispenza) Rizzo and the wife of the late Albert Guzewicz.  Connie began working at G.C. Murphy's and Mann's Drug store, followed by 25 years in the cafeteria of Serra Catholic High School and then at Auberle. Throughout her life, she found joy in caring for her home and family, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her talents in the kitchen were unmatched, with her hot sausage being a cherished family favorite, and her love for sweets, especially cookies, always brought a smile to those around her. Connie enjoyed many trips with her families, some of which included time at the beach, others enjoying the peace of the outdoors.

Connie is survived by her children, Allan (Cyndy) Guzewicz and Sandra (Tom) Greco; grandchildren, Michael Greco, David (Annie) Greco, Shane Guzewicz, Blake (Hope) Guzewicz, Nathan (Taylor) Guzewicz, Anthony (Cara) Greco, and Dana (Justin) Defonso ; great-grandchildren, Wesley, Cole, Mackenzie, Sam, Maddie, Toni, Nevaeh, and Jovanni. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Connie was also preceded in death by her siblings, Frances (Nick) Stojanovic, Joseph (Helen) Rizzo, and Lucy (John) Hammerstrom and Tony Rizzo.

Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Patrick Church.
