Darlene V. Caldwell, age 81, died at home on March 2, 2024. Born November 22, 1942, in Mckeesport, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Vivian (Sundberg) Rodgers and the wife of the late Leo J. Rodgers.
Darlene was a proud wife and mother; she dedicated her life to caring for her beloved family. She was a member of the First Evangelical Free Church of McKeesport. Darlene enjoyed Gospel music; her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.

She is survived by her sons, Timothy (Toni) Caldwell of Newalla, OK, Phillip (Betty McGee) Caldwell of McKeesport, and Ronald (Joyce Muic) Caldwell of McKeesport; grandchildren, Zeke Caldwell and Caroline (Bronson) Blume; great-grandson, Braxton Caldwell; also nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, Darlene was also preceded in death by her siblings, Dawn Rodgers and Ronald Rodgers.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Inurnment will be at a later date in Mt. Vernon Cemetery of McKeesport.
