Leonard “Leo” H. McCurdy, age 80, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024. He was born March 5, 1944 in Wilkinsburg, a son of the late Cyrus and Christine (Long) McCurdy. He had his own furniture refinishing and repair company for over 25 years and drove school bus for Penn Trafford. Leo was hard working, loved gardening, camping and riding his motorcycle. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Thomas and George McCurdy; and sister Nellie Lehr. He is survived by his wife of over 59 years Linda L. (McDonough) McCurdy; children Jami Knox of North Huntingdon and Jay (Mindy) McCurdy of Monroeville; grandchildren Ryann Knox, Devin McCurdy, Cameron McCurdy; Taylor (Jared) Crossland, Ryan Margolis and Lexi Margolis; and sister-in-law Margaret McCurdy of Turtle Creek. Friends and family will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church in North Huntingdon. Private interment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Irwin.
