Gary J. Capaccione, 71, of North Huntingdon, died Tuesday March 26, 2024. He was born January 16, 1953 in Braddock, a son of the late Peter A. Capaccione Sr. and Florence M. (Macura) Capaccione and was also preceded in death by his brother Peter A. Capaccione Jr. Gary was a retired mechanic working for the American Motors dealership in Wilkinsburg and then Acutus Gladwin in East Pittsburgh. Gary was a good hearted person and neighbor who was a caregiver for his late mother and also cared for stray animals. He liked cars and hot-rodding. He is survived by his brother Daniel J. Capaccione of North Huntingdon. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Elizabeth Seton Church with Rev. John Moineau, officiating. Interment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
