Nelson Lynch, 93, of Liberty Boro, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. He was born on July 19, 1930 in Versailles and was the son of the late William Nelson and Edna (Simeral) Lynch. He was the loving husband of 64 years to the late Margaret Jane Lynch, who passed away May 16, 2014. He was a retired Courier for Trans America. He loved woodworking, fixing homes and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Nelson is survived by his children; Nelson (Theresa) Lynch of Lowber, the late Cheryl Thomas, and Jane Lynch of Liberty Boro, grandchildren; Tessie (Brian) Yuhas, Nelson (Kelly) Lynch, Carol (Fred) Deutcsh, Beth (Mike) Thomas, Kevin (Marie) Thomas, Stacy (Lou) Spang and David McPherson, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, nieces and nephews.
