Jerry A. Zebrak, age 71, of Port Vue, died at home on June 3, 2024. Born on April 17, 1953, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Louis J. and Laura (Brzek) Zebrak and was the loving husband of 39 years to Leslie (Lape) Zebrak.  A proud graduate of McKeesport Area High School in 1971, Jerry worked many years as a research technician for a refractory company before retiring in 2016. Jerry actively engaged with his community, being a member of the 11th Ward Club and the Port Vue United Methodist Church. But it was his love for family and friends that truly defined him. He found joy in simple pleasures, such as watching Hallmark movies, with a soft spot for heartwarming Christmas classics. His love for family and friends was evident in every moment spent together, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.  In his younger years, Jerry enjoyed playing in softball leagues, partaking in fishing excursions, and golfing. These activities brought him immense happiness and left him with cherished memories. A man of kindness, integrity, and a gentle spirit, Jerry's absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.  He had a wonderful sense of humor and had a knack for making people laugh. Yet, his legacy of warmth and compassion will continue to inspire and guide those whose lives he touched, reminding us of the power of a life well-lived.

In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by children, Melissa (Josh) Mechling, Jason (Erika) Zebrak, and Justin (Corey) Zebrak; grandchildren, Hailey (Jake) Murphy, Jaden, Landon, and Colton Mechling; twin brother, Tom (Peg) Zebrak and siblings, Carolyn (Joe) Blando, JoAnn (Chuck) Snyder, and Dottie (Ed) Leeper. Jerry is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and faithful dog, Cervelli. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Charlotte and Edward Lape. Family and friends will be received at the Port Vue United Methodist Church on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 2 p.m. until the celebration of life service at 4 p.m. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.willigfuneralcremationservices.com.
