Edith "Edie" Jane Smith, 74, passed away on June 10, 2024. Edie was born on May 17, 1950, in McKeesport, PA, to the late Edwin and Martha (Ostrander) Moore.

Edie is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert Smith of McKeesport, PA; daughter, Tanya (Mario) Nardozi of North Huntingdon, PA; son, Timothy Smith of McKeesport, PA; grandchildren, Tim, Mario, Ashleigh and Jess; two sisters and one brother; nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by six sisters and two brothers. Edie was strong and selfless, a caring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed baking, telling funny stories to her grandchildren, playing her poker machine, and watching "her" shows. Her family was her life. She was always there when they needed her and will be greatly missed. According to Edie's wishes, there will be no viewing or services. I know that she will be with us all in spirit.
