Edward P. Prihode, age 81, of McKeesport, died Monday, November 21, 2016.

He was born in McKeesport on October 12, 1935 and is the son of the late John and Mary Sukel Prihode. He was preceded in death by brothers, John and Hubert; and sisters, Maryann Paris and Elizabeth Prihode.

He was employed at Lofstrom’s Electronics in Glassport until he retired. He was a member and past Master of Masons #765 in East McKeesport, he was a worthy patron at Eastern Star #316 in Clairton, and member of Syria Shrine in Pittsburgh. He truly enjoyed woodwork and making furniture and other items for his family and friends, mostly, he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sallie (Lofstrom) of McKeesport; daughter, Kim (Bob) Kamenicky of White Oak; son, Edward T. Prihode of White Oak, and grandchildren; Kristin (Dave) Behm of North Huntingdon, Brian (Kim) Kamenicky of Bethel Park, and Chad Prihode of White Oak; great-grandsons, Noah Behm and Mason Kamenicky.

Friends and family will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (412-678-6177, Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor) on Friday, November 25th from 2 until 8 PM. Then services will be held in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dr. Cyndi Bloise officiating. Burial will follow in McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery.
