Robert Lee “Sonny” Warman, Sr., age 75 of McKeesport, died on Wednesday, November 23, 2016.

Robert Lee “Sonny” Warman, Sr., age 75 of McKeesport, died on Wednesday, November 23, 2016.  He was born in Markleton, PA on July 24, 1941 and is the son of the late Oliver J. and Elizabeth (Snopsnyder) Warman and the husband of the late Ethel “Sis” Warman.  He was employed at Mon Valley Transportation in Glassport until he retired.  He was a former member of the Bowman Club in McKeesport where he and his wife went dancing; he enjoyed riding his bike or walking around town collecting aluminum cans; mostly he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by sons, Lawrence Warman of Newfreeport, PA and Robert “Butch” Warman of West Newton; daughters, Christina (Frank) Howard of Dunnellon, Florida, Ethel Tauber of McKeesport, Carla Ingram of McKeesport, Darla (Charles) Grayson of Glassport, and Lisa (Charlie) Upperman of McKeesport; grandchildren, Clinton Ricketts, Stephanie and Patrick Warman, Matthew Warman, Sonny Howard, Ashley, Chad, Cody and Dorothy Tauber, Kayla Ingram, John Warman, Jr., Michael Warman, Monique Kisner, Amanda and Amy Grayson, Rory and Robert Shelton, Michelle Richards, Brandon Schillaci, Nicole Upperman and Marion Warman; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Swink and Annie Day both of West Newton; brothers, Roy P. Warman of McKeesport, Earl D. (Helen) Warman of Duquesne; many nieces & nephews. In addition to his wife Ethel, he is preceded in death by his son, John F. Warman, Sr.
Friends will be received at Hunter-Edmundson-Striffler Funeral Home, 600 Market St., McKeesport, PA 15132 (412) 678-6191 on Monday, Nov. 28th from 2:00-8:00 pm.  Services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 29th at the funeral home chapel at 11:30 am with Rev. Harold Dangel officiating.  Burial will follow.
