Joseph Stephen Harbulak Sr., age 90, of North Huntingdon died June 29, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born December 9, 1933 in Budkovce, Markovce, Slovakia, he was the son of the late Paul and Anna (Ondovcik) Harbulak, and the husband of over 68 years to Patricia (Hartnett) Harbulak.

Joe was a graduate of St. Peter's High School Class of 1953, where he met the love of his life and life partner, Pat. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War Era, and was a proud veteran. Following his time in the service, Joseph worked an apprenticeship at Westinghouse Electric, where he became a journeyman tool maker. Joe worked for 30 years as a tool maker at Elliott Co. in Jeannette. He was a member of Mary Mother of God Parish, and the Franklin Township Beagle Club. Joe cherished spending time with his family at the camp they built together near Cook Forest State Park.

In addition to his wife, Joseph is survived by his children, Pattie (Tom Crocker) McCracken, Joseph S. (Lyndi) Harbulak Jr., and Richard (Deanna) Harbulak; grandchildren, Paul (Holly) Harbulak Jr., Melissa (Doug) Piconi, Frank (Jaime) McCracken, Matthew (Becca) McCracken, Kara (Nate) Dingwell, Joseph S. Harbulak III, Zak Harbulak, Juliana Harbulak, Nicole (Jon) Kwaczala, and James Harbulak; great-grandchildren, Henry J., Effie, Adeline, Charlotte, Jonathan, and Cassy; daughter-in-law, Mary Lou; son-in-law, Wade; and his pal, Gizmo.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his son, Paul Michael Harbulak Sr.; and brothers, Stephen and Andrew Harbulak.
