Gary K. "Block" Gilmore, age 69, of Lincoln Borough, died July 24, 2024, at home. Born September 4, 1954, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Edward and Ada (Metz) Gilmore and the husband of Linda (Sass) Gilmore.
Gary was the proud owner and operator of Gary Gilmore Trucking. He had a passion for muscle cars and could frequently be found at local car shows. He had a need for speed and truly had a thrill for all automobile racing, drag racing, and Nascar. He loved a good laugh and a toast celebrating with friends.

In addition to his wife, Gary is survived by his son, Gary E. Gilmore of Liberty Borough; daughters, Jennifer Gilmore and Amy Gilmore, both of Wilson; nephews, Edward M. Gilmore and Michael Gilmore; great nephew, Korey Gilmore; cousin, Conor Craig; along with many other cousins, extended family and friends.
Gary will be missed by all that knew him, he was truly, "Top Shelf!"
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Edward "Terry" Gilmore, and nephew, Terry "Tank" Gilmore.
