Robert William Meredith, 86, of White Oak, passed away on Thursday August 1, 2024. He was born on April 21, 1938 in Uniontown and was the son of the late Harry B. and Emily Mae (Christopher) Meredith. Robert graduated from McKeesport High School in 1956 and went on to receive a Bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock University and a Master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh. After college, he returned to his alma mater to teach biology for 2 years, before becoming the Principal of Frances McClure Junior High. He also served as the Principal of McKeesport High School. He loved all of his students and would always express "Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger." He was also a Free Mason at the Polaris Lodge No. 375, and a member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon.

 He is survived by his loving wife of over 61 years, Joan M. (Manning) Meredith; nephew, Richard Turner; nieces Michelle Turner and Denise Yuran; sisters-in-law, Joanne C. Meredith and Barbara Turner; great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sally Meredith and brother, Richard B. Meredith.
