John F. Burek, age 76, of North Versailles, died August 19, 2024, at Select Specialty Hospital McKeesport.  Born October 23, 1947, in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late John and Paulina (Korzeniski) Burek.  John worked for Westinghouse in Quality Control and was an Army Veteran.  He enjoyed spending his leisure time playing darts and pool, sharing a cold beer with his friends, and listening to the music of Elvis Presley, whom he adored.  A devout Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan, John found joy in cheering on his favorite teams during game days.

He is survived by his sons, Christopher (Kim) Burek and Brian Burek.  Arrangements were entrusted to Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory.  A private burial was held at Restland Memorial Park.  Condolences and memories may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com
