June F. Snyder, age 92, of White Oak, died peacefully October 11, 2024, surrounded by her family and friends. Born February 26, 1932, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Laura (Smith) Schultz and the wife of the late Paul H. Snyder.

June worked at Thurman's Candy Co. in her earlier years and later retired as a clerk at the former Mann's Drug Store. She was a member of Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church. June enjoyed shopping for and selling treasures at the local flea markets, playing bingo and cards with her friends and family, and playing the slots at the casino. Above all, she was a proud grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

June is survived by her son, Charles (JoAnn) Snyder of White Oak; grandchildren, Autumn (Clifford) Timko, Amy (Jason) Karas, Alexis Eisner, Shannon Snyder, and Michael Snyder; great-grandchildren, Mara Timko, Ethan DeMarco, Peyton Hancharik, Milo and Micah Walker, Rhea Karas, Peter, and Mia Leventis; and sisters, Donna Reyes, Sandy Scholes, Lorraine Miller, and Carol Rivers.

In addition to her parents and husband, June was preceded in death by her son, Paul H. Snyder Jr.; great-grandson, Rex Timko; siblings, Richard Schultz, Chester Schultz, and Gail Finney.

Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 2 p.m. until time of memorial service at 4 p.m., in the funeral home chapel.
Memorial Contributions are suggested to the BDSR Foundation in memory of June's great-grandson, Rex Timko, or the American Cancer Society.

June's family would like to extend a heartfelt, "Thank you," to the staff of Bridges Hospice, for the support, compassion, and care they provided during this difficult time.
