John R. Cordisco, Sr., age 81, of McKeesport, died October 18, 2024. Born October 30, 1942, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Diogino and Adeline (LeDonne) Cordisco and husband of the late Phyllis Cordisco.  John was a lifetime member of the 11th Ward Club, a lifetime member and former Assistant Fire Chief of the White Oak Volunteer Fire Company #1, a member of the White Oak American Legion Post 701, and a member and past President of the Equitable Gas Retirees Club Division E. He enjoyed woodworking and had built most of the furniture in his house and trips to the casino.

He is survived by children, John R. (Christine) Cordisco, Jr., Doreen (Raymond) Williams, Cynthia (John) Altfather, William Segady, Debra Segady, Randy (Theresa) Segady, Anthony Segady, and Darrin (Fran) Segady; grandchildren, Jake Juricich, Randy (Kayla) Segady, Maria Segady, Amanda Segady, Tiffany Segady, Carmine Segady, Angela Cordisco, Kristin (Gene) Harwood, Nicole (David) Lucas, Raymond Williams, Jr., Dylan Altfather, Alyssa Altfather, and eleven great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Janet Cordisco. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Casimino and Diogino Cordisco.  Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at noon.
