Richard F. DePaulis Sr., a beloved husband, father and lifelong resident of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the age of 83. His passing marks the end of an incredible life filled with love, friendships, and an enduring legacy of entertainment in the city he loved.

Richard is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, Cyndi, with whom he built a life rich in love and laughter. His sons, David of Miami, FL and Michael (Amanda) of White Oak; daughter, Natalie of Pittsburgh; sister Peggy (Donald) Cooper of Atlantic Beach, FL, all carry forward his spirit and kindness.

A true visionary and entrepreneur, Richard founded General Talent Associates, an entertainment agency he operated as president for over 50 years. His passion for music and performance transformed the entertainment landscape in Pittsburgh, as he brought some of the biggest acts in America to the city. Hundreds of thousands of people had the chance to experience many talented artists thanks to his efforts.

Outside of his professional achievements, Richard was known for his boundless generosity, sense of humor, and devotion to his family and friends. Whether cheering on the Steelers, spending time at the Monroeville Racquet Club or Pitcairn-Monroeville Sportsmen's Club, his presence was always one of warmth and kindness.

In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his sons, Richard F. DePaulis Jr. and Edward DePaulis.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to THE HEYWARD HOUSE, in honor of Richard's favorite Steeler and the incredible work Cameron Heyward does for the Pittsburgh community.

May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory live on through the music, the laughter, and the love he brought to his family and friends.
