Edward R. Brush, age 79, of McKeesport, died on November 5, 2024, at home. Born August 18, 1945, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Edward D. and Mary (Dyakon) Brush and husband of Pat (Kehoe) Brush for 52 years.  Edward was a loving husband to his wife, Pat, and together, they shared a passion for family activities, especially sports events involving their children and grandchildren. One of Edward's most cherished traditions was the "Mystery Mondays" he organized for his grandkids, where he would plan surprise adventures for them to enjoy. Edward found joy in these moments of togetherness and laughter.  Traveling with his beloved wife was another highlight of Edward's life. They particularly loved embarking on cruises, exploring new destinations hand in hand, creating lasting memories filled with love and shared adventures. Ed worked as an accountant for Consol Energy for over 40 years. He was a member of the Mary, Mother of God Parish, and former Knight of Columbus.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Suzi (Glenn) Normandy, Bob (Leslie Dunmire) Brush, and John (Erin) Brush; grandchildren, Luc Normandy, Payton Normandy, Kaitlyn Brush, and Thea Kathern Brush. Ed was also preceded in death by a sister, Pam Olayos.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 10 a.m., at Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Angela Merici Church.
