Patricia "Tricia" Shaw Warren, 72, of Washington, formerly of Mount Vernon,  passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024 after a brief illness. She was born July 8, 1952 in Pittsburgh, and was the eldest daughter of the late Ira Dayne and Patricia (Jaycox) Shaw. Tricia attended high school with her husband, Steve, at Elizabeth Forward, and were graduates of the class of 1970. She went on to graduate with a bachelors degree in Economics from Grove City College in 1974, and Boston University for a graduate study in Communications. She worked for WTAE as a news producer while her husband attended law school at Duquesne University. When Steve served as an attorney in the U.S Navy Jag Corps in Norfolk, VA., Tricia raised their two children while doing free lance production for a local cable station. Later on, when they returned to Washington, still raising the children, she pursued a passion as a water color painter and potter while Steve worked as a trial lawyer in Pittsburgh. She painted many landscapes from this area and of their travels around the U.S and abroad. She particularly liked to paint the various changing seasons at their farm pond in Greene County. She belonged to the McMurray Art League and was also invited to be a member of the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society. She and Steve shared a love of nature and the arts throughout their marriage.

Both were active members of Church of the Covenant, Presbyterian(USA), in Washington, PA, where Tricia was a deacon and elder. She also led middle school and senior high youth groups and taught and participated in adult bible study and small group ministry for many years. She was also an active member of the Fellowship of Concern prayer ministry up until her recent illness. She used her artistic talents over the years in designing and making large banners and quilts based upon biblical verses, which are currently used in contemporary worship services. Both Tricia and Steve enjoyed a teaching mission in Science and Reading for disadvantaged youth at the Lemoyne Community Center in recent years. Tricia is survived by her husband, Charles Stephen "Steve" Warren of Washington; daughter, Margaret Shaw Warren of Washington; son, Dayne Charles Warren (Britni Kress) of Scott Township; sister, Rebecca Shaw McHolme (Stan Stein) of Elizabeth Township; nephew, Caird (Katie) McHolme of Edgewood; nieces, Molly (Blake) Watterworth of Elizabeth Township, and Chelsea M.
