David A. Smith, Sr., age 53, of McKeesport, died May 23, 2024.  Born February 27, 1971, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late David G. and Debra (Scherm) Smith.  David worked as a mechanic in McKeesport for many years, first at his garage on Versailles Ave., and then for Cherepko's Auto Sales.

He is survived by children, Jennifer (Domenic) Cardamone and David A. Smith, Jr.; grandchildren, Aidan Nasir Walker Smith, Michael, Miley, Miranda, McKenzie, and Gianna Carmen, and Thomas Castellano; sisters, Brenda Miller and Mary Ann Smith.
