Joyce Ruth Gorzo, age 81, of White Oak, PA, died on Sunday, January 5, 2025. She was born November 27, 1943, in McKeesport, PA, and is the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Lydia Ruth Mewherter Fallert.

Joyce is survived by her children, Jacelyn (Donald) Strom of East McKeesport, PA; Nicholas Arthur Gorzo of White Oak, PA; grandson, Duston Strom; and brother, Arthur E. (the late Ethel) Fallert of Coupeville, WA; along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas John Gorzo, Jr., who died on April 10, 2023.

The family would like to say thank you to all of the staff at Kane Community Living Center and Bridges Hospice for their wonderful care of Joyce.

Family and friends will gather at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. when services will be held in the funeral home chapel.
