David Alan Yarosik, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away suddenly on January 7, 2025. Dave was born on April 6, 1960 in Pittsburgh. He grew up in North Huntingdon, where he was a star athlete at Norwin High School (class of 1978). He was a faithful member of St. Stephen’s Byzantine Catholic Church. Dave was a devoted family man who loved his “Sweetie” Janet and his children and grandchildren above all else. Lovingly known as Pap by his grandchildren, he was happy to be an involved, dedicated, and special part of their lives. He also loved animals, especially his dog Lulu. Dave was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He was dependable, fun, and generous, a steady and kind presence to all who knew him. He had a warm smile and a great laugh. He is survived by his wife Janet, his children Jennifer Belliveau (David Jones), Michael Belliveau (Kelley), and David Belliveau, his grandchildren Penelope, Theodora, and Sebastian Jones, his brother Michael Yarosik (Colleen) and their children Jason (Ann) and Ryan (Julia), and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Goldie Yarosik. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Sunday from 4-6 PM, and Monday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM with a Panachida service at 7:30 PM. A funeral liturgy will take place on Tuesday at 10 AM in St. Stephen Byzantine Catholic Church in North Huntingdon with interment to follow in the Holy Savior Cemetery Mausoleum in Gibsonia.
