Minetta Alyse Scott, 72, of McKeesport, was born January 6, 1952, in Duquesne, PA. She was the beloved daughter of the late Luther and Beatrice (Jeffries) Daviston.

Minetta attended and graduated from Duquesne High School. Minetta worked as a caregiver in a daycare center.

Minetta enjoys walking, loves to cook for her family, and plays games on her tablet.

Minetta attended Jerusalem Baptist Church in Duquesne, PA with her family.

Minetta departed this life on January 4, 2025, in West Mifflin, PA. She was preceded in death by Her father, Luther Daviston, mother, Beatrice Daviston, sister, Elizbeth Daviston, brothers, Vincent Daviston, Delmar Daviston, and Duane Daviston

Minetta is survived by her loving spouse Leonard together for 22 years and married for 10 years; daughter, Ebony Daviston of McKeesport, PA; son, Dontez Daviston; grandchildren, 4; greatgrandchildren, 4; great grand on the way, 1; sister, Millicent (Robert) Johnson; four brothers, Kelcy (Angie) Daviston, Hubert Hudson, Herbert  Hudson, David (Theresa) Daviston, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
