Thomas Edward Procup, age 85, of McKeesport, passed away on January 16, 2025, at Passavant Community of Zelienople. Born December 2, 1939, in McKeesport, PA, he was the son of the late Patrick and Helen (Sowa) Procup and the loving husband of the late Barbara (Grass) Procup.
He is survived by his daughter, Cara (Joe) Marino of Cranberry, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Charles Procup, and sister, Patricia Trautman.

Tom was a US Navy veteran and retiree from Verizon (the former Bell Telephone), where he worked 30-plus years as a lineman and installer in McKeesport, White Oak, and West Mifflin. He was a longtime parishioner of the former Corpus Christi, now Mary, Mother of God Parish. Tom was also a member of the Shaner Sportsmen Club. Never one to say no, Tom was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was an avid animal lover and enjoyed cars, home projects, history, and trains. Most of all, he was a devoted husband and father who loved spending time with his family. His laugh, his smile, his sarcasm, his quick wit, and his love, will be missed by all who knew him.  Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., at Corpus Christi Church of McKeesport. Committal prayers, military honors, and burial will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
