Bernard James Little, Jr., age 87, of White Oak, PA, died on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. He was born July 28, 1937, in McKeesport, PA, to the late Bernard James, Sr. and Velma Sharbaugh Little.

Bernard proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He loved to spend time outdoors, gardening and hunting. Always quick with a story to tell or share a great meal. He was a great man who was always quick to lend a hand to anyone in need. He loved God and his family. His legacy will live on through all who loved and knew him.

He is survived by his wife, “Betty”; daughters, Sherri (Larry) Bumbarger of White Oak, PA; and Linda (James) Devlin of New Castle, PA; grandchildren, Amy Saporito; Steven Bumbarger; Matthew (Katiara) Bumbarger; Jared Bumbarger; Megan (Cortez) Woods; Joshua Sprumont; Kayla Sprumont; Madison Devlin; and Kassandra (Jordan) Holman; and great-grandchildren, James Doka; Eliott Saporito; Maleah Bumbarger; Carter Bumbarger; and Colton Bumbarger.

Family and friends will gather on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6178). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Angela Merici Church, 2701 Kelly Street, White Oak, PA 15131. Burial with military honors will follow.
