Carrie M. (Hilson) Raspet, 99, of North Huntingdon, died Friday December 9, 2016, at home. She was born November 3, 1917 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Henry and Eliza (Filburn) Hilson and was also preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Raspet and sisters Anna Mae Stahl and Medea Behanna. She was a graduate of West Penn School of Nursing and worked as a private duty nurse for many years.

She was a good mother, neighbor, nurse and friend and will be greatly missed. Surviving are her sons, James R. (Bonnie) Raspet of Irwin and Ronald A. Raspet of Linesville; grandchildren Robert Raspet and Deanne (Jim) MacMillan; also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. Private burial will be in Union Cemetery.
