Charles E. Kinner, 90, of Elizabeth Township, departed this earth on February 12, 2025 after a brief illness to be united with his 3 sons in heaven. Charles was born Jan. 6, 1935 in Duquesne and was the son of the late John Andrew and Mary (Varga) Kinner of West Mifflin. He leaves behind his devoted wife, partner and soul mate of over 70 years, Dorothy A. (Vovolka) Kinner. Charles was retired from US National Tube Works in McKeesport where he worked as a crane man and was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church of Elizabeth Township.

 In addition to his beloved wife, his survivors include daughters-in-law, Cheryl A. (Powell) Kinner and Vicki (Gantt) both of Buena Vista ; grandsons; Brian Kinner of Buena Vista; and Steven (Kayla) Kinner of West Newton; granddaughter, Alisha (Nick)Lacey of Glassport; and 2 great-grandsons, Karson David and Kameron David Kinner; great-grandaughter, Skylar Emma Lacey; nieces Kathleen (Rob) Miskanic of Trafford; Andrea (Lance) Medich of Bethel Park; Karen (Brian) Schyberg of Sacramento, California: nephew, Michael (Yvonne) McVay of Glendale, Arizona; cousins, great nephews and great nieces. He was preceded in death by his 3 sons, Charles D. who died Dec. 2014; Ronald D. who died Aug. 2009 and John who died Oct. 2011; brothers John R. Kinner, Bernard C. Kinner and a sister, Mary Ann Kinner McVay & grandson, Ronald Kinner. Charles will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
