Roger A. Blake, age 81, of McKeesport, died February 18, 2025, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital.  Born December 4, 1943, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Vincent and Ruth (Mellinger) Blake.
He had an appreciation for art, with a particular fondness for museums; the Andy Warhol Museum held a special place in his heart.  His keen eye for detail also led him to explore photography and film development, activities that brought him joy and allowed him to express his creativity.

A genuine animal lover, Roger embodied compassion, extending his care and kindness to all creatures great and small.  His gentle spirit and open heart allowed him to navigate life without holding grudges, embracing all individuals with understanding and love.
He is survived by a sister, Lois (the late Wellington Jr.) Curry of West Mifflin; niece, Deborah Werner of Lanexa, VA; nephews, Wellington E. (Carol) Curry III of Elizabeth Twp., Russell A. (Katrina) Curry, of Renton, WA, and David (Amy) Curry of McCandless Twp.  He is also survived by one great-nephew and two great-nieces.  The services for Roger will be private.  Arrangements were entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory.  Condolences and memories may be shared at www.willigfuneralcremationservices.com
