Helen Cielieska, age 97, of Dravosburg, died February 19, 2025, at The Haven Convalescent Home. Born August 13, 1927, in Clairton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Palsa) Rukavina and wife of the late John Cielieska. Helen worked as a telephone operator at Westinghouse and Bell Telephone, where her kindness and laughter brightened the lives of her colleagues. As a member of St. Agnes Church in West Mifflin and an active participant in Riverview Community Life, she embodied the spirit of community, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a warm smile. In her leisure time, Helen found joy in baking delicious treats, immersing herself in captivating novels, and preparing meals for her loved ones. Her home was a haven filled with love, laughter, and the sweet aroma of her culinary creations. She also enjoyed trips with family to their camp in Big Bear Lake West Virginia.
She is survived by a son, Allan (Linda Benek) Cielieska; sister, Emma Pido; and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by a son, Jack Cielieska; brother, John Rukavina; brother-in-law, Michael Pido; nephew, Michael Pido, Jr. Arrangements were entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory.
