Obituaries | The Tube City Almanac | February 26, 2025

Janice I. Pack, age 80, of McKeesport, died on February 23, 2025, at Westmoreland Manor. Born June 7, 1944, in Wilkinsburg, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen ( Byard ) Meyer and wife of the late William R. Pack. Janice lived with a spirit of kindness and a passion for both people and animals.
Janice worked at the G.C. Murphy Co. warehouse in her early years. Her commitment extended beyond her work; she was an active member of McMaster's United Methodist Church in Turtlecreek, where she contributed her time and beautiful spirit to her church community.

Janice embraced her love for animals in her free time, especially her cherished dogs, who brought joy and companionship. She reminisced fondly about her youthful adventures camping and the time she shared with her family. A true treasure seeker, Janice also found joy in discovering unique finds on QVC.
Janice is survived by her nieces, Dalsan (Mike) Zona and Rita (Clarence) Conner; nephews, Rick (Marianne) Pack and Jim (Daina) Pack; cousin Wendy (Rick) Boehm; great-nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 11 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.willigfuneralcremationservices.com.
