James Fetchen, age 76, of Bunola, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Monongahela Valley Hospital. He was the retired owner and operator of James Fetchen Trucking in Bunola and a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Twp. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of the Clairton Anglers Club. He enjoyed hunting, loved his grandchildren and especially watching their sporting events.

Born November 1, 1940 in Monongahela, he was a son of the late Peter J. and Wilhelmina (Pishney) Fetchen. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Margaret “Peggy” (Thomas) Fetchen; daughters, Lisa Welsh of Elizabeth and Shelly (Dan) DiCesaro of North Fayette; grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephen and Jillian Welsh and Jackson DiCesaro; brothers, Richard (Judy) Fetchen of Hilo, HI and Dan Fetchen of Bunola; also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 6-8 PM and Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 10:00 AM in St. Michael Parish with Rev. Thomas A. Wagner officiating.
