Ralph "Geedy" James, 61 of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, departed December 14, 2016 in Kane Glen Hazel Regional Center.

Born June 3, 1955 in Pittsburgh, son of the late Rose James. He was preceded in death by brother, Thomas James and was the loving husband of April L. Myers-James.

Ralph was a member of Petra International Ministries, former Semi-pro football player and attended Conley trade center. He also worked as a Team Leader for Lowes Home Improvement.

Survivors include wife, April L. Myers-James of McKeesport; children, Eboni Capri Hawthorne of East Liberty, Markale Thomas Grimmit-James of Penn Hills; step-children, LaShae Pope and Aliyah Jenkins both of McKeesport, three grandchildren; sister Lynn (Kevin) Jackson of Virginia and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the at the Robert A. Waters Funeral Home, Inc., 2326 Jenny Lind Street, McKeesport. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Petra International Ministries, 235 Eastgate Drive Pittsburgh, PA with Elder Timothy Walker, officiating.

Interment will follow in the McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport.

Arrangements entrusted to the Robert A. Waters Funeral Home, Inc., McKeesport, PA.
