Paul Ellis Caplan, 76, of White Oak, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. He was born December 1, 1948 and was the son of the late Joseph S. and Joan (Rosenberg) Caplan. Paul attended the University of Tennessee and worked as a retail manager for many years. He was also a Life Master of the American Contract Bridge League and a bridge teacher. He also loved model trains, puzzles and games.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Catherine Shaw Caplan; brothers, Jay Caplan, David Caplan and Lee Caplan; many nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In leiu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org) or the White Oak E.M.S. 2800 State St, White Oak, PA 15131.
