Obituaries | The Tube City Almanac | May 28, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harry Kozlowski, who left us on May 23, 2025, at the age of 95. A lifelong resident of McKeesport, PA, Harry's journey began on August 2, 1929. He was a beloved son of the late Ignatius and Pearl (Penkalski) Kozlowski.
Harry dedicated many years of his life as a draftsman at Westinghouse, where he often spoke fondly of the camaraderie he found with his colleagues. He was also a proud United States Army veteran, serving his country during the Korean War. Faith was an important part of Harry's life; he was an active member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, where he found a sense of community and belonging.

Harry appreciated life's simple pleasures. Whether it was a relaxing afternoon spent listening to the radio or enjoying a dinner outing with family and friends, he always made time for the things that brought him joy.
Harry is survived by his niece, Laura Massie and nephew, Chris Martin who helped care for him, along with many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
In addition to his parents, Harry was also preceded in death by all of his siblings, Chester, Ignatius, Stanley, Joseph, Raymond, Laura, Mary, and Pearl.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Harry's life and legacy. A public visitation will take place at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on June 2, 2025, 10 a.m., at Corpus Christi Church. Committal prayers, military honors, and burial will follow in St. Mary Polish Cemetery.
Harry will be dearly missed, but his spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew him.
Memorial contributions are suggested to White Oak Animal Safe Haven, 2295 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131.
