Ruth V. Harr, 91, of Liberty Borough, died Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at home. She was born September 8, 1925 in Liberty Borough and was the daughter of the late Edwin A. and Bessie "Virginia" Thompson Elliott. She was the wife of the late Jack Harr who died September 23, 1998. Ruth was a member of the First Christian Church-McKeesport and it's Senior Sonshiners.

She was also a member of the McKeesport Hospital Nurses Alumni, Army Nurse Cadet Corps, McKeesport Hospital Golden Key Club, Elizabeth Chapter # 418 O.E.S., and was a Charter member of the White Oak Chapter #542 O. E. S. Ruth was a Registered Nurse and retired from McKeesport Hospital. She is survived by her Daughters, Beverly K. (Donald) Adams of Chalfant Borough and Donna L. Rozier of McKeesport, Grandchildren, Etyus M. Rozier of North Braddock, Keelan J. (Korie) Rozier of Monroeville, Lauren E. Adams Geissler of Chalfant Borough, Briane L. (fiancée, Eugene Baker) Adams of Forest Hills, Great-Grandchildren, Madison Piatek,Taylor Piatek, Jazlyn Rozier, Kamryn Rozier, Nyla Rozier, Etyus Rozier, Jr., Brooklyn Rozier, and Jersey Rozier and nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome Friday, December 30, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm., at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way,White Oak, (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, Director. Service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the First Christian Church, 1025 McCleary Street, McKeesport, with Ray J. Beard officiating.
