Joshua Gray "Josh" Klingensmith, 49, of Jefferson Hills, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025. He was born July 9, 1975 in McKeesport and was the son of Daniel and Janet (Maple) Klingensmith. Josh most recently worked as a retail supervisor for Dollar General, and had also worked for Sam's Club in West Mifflin for many years. He was one of the sweetest and funniest people you could ever meet and loved to make everyone laugh. Josh was a great cook, he had a passion for smoking meats and baking pies and cakes. He also enjoyed thrifting anything and everything, collecting Hot Wheels Cars and building Hot Wheels Tracks. Josh was a passionate lover of music, he displayed this by wearing various band tees on a regular basis; some of his favorite bands included Journey, Pink Floyd and Def Leopard. He also enjoyed numerous family vacations throughout the years. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 8 years, Sheryl Lynn Drake-Klingensmith; daughter, Jordan Drake; grandaughter, Freya Gray; sister, Kasey (Bryan) Klingensmith-Wright; grandmother, Gloria (the late Lawrence G.) Maple; aunts and uncles, Phillip and Gail Marshman, Ginger (the late Clarke) Begg, and Larry and Karen Maple; sister-in-laws, Denise Beluscak and Elizabeth Drake; nephew, Mitchell Drake and his beloved cats. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Merle G. and Viola Klingensmith. Friends and family are welcome on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Gilbert FuneralHome and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township (412)751-5000 Troy J.
