With profound sadness, the family of Alexander Thomas Cook, age 31, of White Oak, is grieving his unexpected passing on Monday, December 8, 2025. Born April 15, 1994, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Danielle M. DiNapoli and the late Todd T. Cook.

Alex was a graduate of East Allegheny High School and the Community College Technical School for mechanics. After graduating, he worked as a mechanic for Day Ford in Monroeville, but this wasn't to be his life's work. He found that at Parker Hannifin Corporation in Irwin, PA. He loved his job, especially the group of people he worked with. Alex learned and loved to hunt and fish with his father and grandfather, Todd and John Cook. He hunted for deer in Kinzua, PA, and from the deer stand in his backyard. His interest in dirt bike riding was shared with his brother, and they spent time riding the trails they made on the home property. He had a close relationship with his sister and spent time with her and the dogs, Leela and Gator. He was a man of few words, but full of love and laughter. Alex made the best french fries, bar none. His grandmother always thanked him for finding their fur buddy, Murphy, at the pet rescue.

Alex is survived by his brother, Tyler Cook (Denise) of St. John, USVI; his sister, Zoe M. Cook (Adam Cuccaro) of McKeesport; his grandparents, John and Charmaine Cook of White Oak, and John DiNapoli of North Versailles; preceded in death by Beverly DiNapoli.

Also survived by uncles, Adam Cook (Rachel Hoey-Cook) and John DiNapoli Jr. (Adrian); aunts, Dana Cook (Justin Campbell), Lindsey Cook (Jonathan Palochko), and Demi DiNapoli; cousins, Johnny DiNapoli III (Kailey), Gavin Isaacs, Maggie Campbell, Nolan and Ellie Palochko, Vivia DiNapoli, Vienna DiNapoli, and many extended family who loved him.

We treasured him from the first moment we saw him, and we will love and miss him forever. In our hearts, Alex, until we meet again.

Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 5 p.m. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com.
