Patricia R. Burgwin, 66 of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, peacefully departed Wednesday, January 4, 2017 in AHN Jefferson Hospital. She was born August 18, 1950 in McKeesport, daughter of the late Herman Ramseur, Sr. and Margaret Kelley Ramseur Smith and preceded in death by son, Jermaine A. Oden.

Patricia was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher Board and she was also a Daughter Elk of the Lily of the Valley IBPOE of W Temple 500 of Elizabeth. She attended Duff's Business Institute and worked as an Operation Supervisor for Edgar Snyder & Associates.

Survivors include husband, Samuel L. Burgwin and son, Berry B. Oden both of Elizabeth; siblings, Cheryl “Sherry” (Allen) Stewart of Washington, DC, Duane (Betty) Ramseur of Clairton, Herman "Toby" (Regina) Ramseur of Elizabeth; five grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church, 307 Shaw Avenue,
Clairton, Pennsylvania, where services will be held at Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Willie J. Thompson, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in the Round Hill, Elizabeth.
