Judy Schmidt died peacefully January 13, 2017. She led a very blessed life and was rewarded with two wonderful sons, a beautiful daughter-in-law and a spectacular grandson. Mr. and Mrs. Jennifer and Philip Schmidt, Mr. Michael Schmidt, Jr. and grandson, Charles James Schmidt. Judy also leaves behind her loving brother and wife Eugene and Carol Pierce (PA) and sister Marti and Arthur Blanchard (SC) and sister-in-law Nini Pierce (PA) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She would like to be remembered in your prayers as simply trying to follow Jesus. Sometime succeeding, sometime not, but always trying. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 9:45 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at All-Saints Catholic Church, 620 North Cedar Bluff Road, Knoxville, Tennessee 37923 with Father Doug Owens officiating.
