Andrew Walter McGee, 28, of McKeesport, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017. He was born October 2, 1988 in Pittsburgh and was the son of Walter E. (Deb) McGee III of McKeesport and Desiree Lynn (Joe) Swartz of McKeesport. Andrew had a tattoo of William Ernest Henley's poem "Invictus" and lead his life by the phrase " I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul. " In addition to his parents, Andrew is survived by sisters, Cherri (Robert Ferarri) and Brandi Halfhill of McKeesport, grandparents, Charles and Kathleen Swartz of McKeesport, great-grandfather, Francis Casey, aunts, Kimberly (Ken) Zera, and Karen (Regis) Bryer, uncle, Charles Swartz, niece, Lyric Washington, special cousin, Gara-Ann Hosier, special friend, Chelsea Cnice, as well as other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter E. "Red" II and Barbara McGee, and great-grandmother Joyce Casey . There is no visitation.
