Carolina Martinelli Rossetti, 100, of Elizabeth Township, died Wednesday February 15, 2017. She was born April 12, 1916 in Lettopalena (Abruzzo Region) Italy, and was the daughter of the late Dominic and Maria D. Palmieri Martinelli. She was the wife of the late Crescenzo Rossetti who died in 1996. She attended St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Township. She is survived by her daughters, Lucia Martin of Houston, TX, Philomena Ryan and Maria Rossetti of Elizabeth Township, sons, Dominic (Cheryl) Rossetti of Greensburg, and Mario (Susan) Rossetti of Elizabeth Township, daughter-in-law, Susan (Kurt Woodhead) Rossetti of Peters Township, grandchildren, Vincent (April) Ryan, Carleen (Ron) Fontana, Sarah (Jason) Pastor, Christopher (Shenessa) Rossetti, Todd (Karen) Rossetti, Jill Rossetti, and Laura (John) Cosharek, great-grandchildren, Anthony and Madeline Fontana, Ethan, Tristen, and Mia Pastor, Gabriella and Rafael Cosharek, and Olivia Rossetti, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Guy Rossetti, brothers, Ernesto and Croce Martinelli and sons-in-law, Charles Martin and Richard Ryan. Friends are welcome Sunday February 19 from 2-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, Director.
