Darren L. Robinson, 56, of Clairton, Pennsylvania, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 in AHN Jefferson Regional Hospital.

He was born January 16, 1961 in McKeesport and son of the late Johnny Coles and Doris Pope Robinson.He was preceded in death by sister, Lorraine Gay Robinson, sister, Sheree Robinson.

He was a member of First A.M.E. Church. Darren was a Clairton graduate, where he was a star football player. He worked in construction for Shawn McDavis remodeling.

Survivors include siblings, Lance Robinson of OH, Devell Robinson of FL, Johnna Robinson of West Mifflin, Valerie Burke of McKeesport, many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at First African Methodist Episcopal Church, 177 Mitchell Avenue, Clairton, Pennsylvania, where services will be held Wednesday, with Rev. Linda Moore officiating.

Interment will follow in the McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery.
