Mabel J. Lippert, age 96 of North Huntingdon, formerly of White Oak, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. Born April 9, 1920 in Glassport, she was the daughter of the late William and Edith Mae (Houston) Simpson, and loving wife of the late Leonard G. Lippert. Mabel was a member of the Sampson's Mills Presbyterian Church along with the White Oak Women's Club, the White Oak AARP #2294, and former member of the McKeesport Women's Club. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, especially trips to St. Petersburg and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Rich) Collier of North Huntingdon and Carol (the late Arthur, Jr.) Andrews of South Carolina; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, William and Clyde Simpson; and sister, Edith Rosback. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. The Reverend Scott Dennis will officiate. Burial will be private at St. Mary German Cemetery.
