Dorothy Elizabeth (Null) Schwirian, 82, of North Huntingdon, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Dorothy “Mumzi” was born March 20, 1934, in Ruffsdale, a daughter of the late Braden and Sara (Allison) Null.

Prior to retirement, she worked as a sales clerk for Peerless Wallpaper in Monroeville. She loved to watch the Steelers, coloring as well as dot-to-dot puzzles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Schwirian, brothers-Earl “Butch” Null, Gerald “Jerry” Null, Paul Null, and son-in-law Benjamin Scott. She is survived by two daughters, Beckie Scott of Escondido, Calif. and Brenda and Scott Fleming of North Huntingdon, step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, sister-in-law Betty Null of Greensburg, cousins, nieces, nephews and her faithful companion Bella.  Dorothy will be remembered by all as a very lovely, classy lady and will be greatly missed.  As per Dorothy’s wishes, there will be no viewing.  A memorial service-as a Celebration of her Life- will be held at a future time.  Donations may be made to American Heart Association or to your local animal shelter.
