Alberta M. “Bert” Burnett, age 73 of Liberty Borough, passed away March 27, 2017. Born March 15, 1944 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Stella (Turczyn) Randic.

Bert was employed with McKeesport Hospital and she began working there on February 9, 1979 and she was also a beautician . She loved to travel when she could and her favorite place to visit was the beach. She is survived by her children, Sharon Burnett and Michael (Susan) Burnett; brother, Ronald (Patricia) Randic; nieces, Jennifer (Robert) Watkins and Lindsay (Mark) Yorchuck; great-nieces, Evelyn and Vivian. She was preceded in death by her aunt, Betty Mols; uncles, Vincent and Louis Randic, and her fur baby Cody. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 30, 2017, 10 a.m. at St. Mark Parish, Liberty Borough. Fr. Daniel Straughn will officiate. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Port Vue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Mark Parish Share Program.
